The Basic Inspection consists of a visit to the jobsite, a client interview to compile the appropriate field notes and photographs of the construction problem. Problems are analyzed for errors or defects in the construction and the work is compared to industry approved construction

This is all done in preparation for a report, which can be a couple of page document in general review or can extend to multiple pages with technical and forensic and code information

The report compares the inspection information gathered to common practices and standards in trade codes and building regulations
I am a certified court construction “expert” that provides trade knowledge and hands-on experience of tile construction with an unbiased opinion of the construction problem.

I make references to Codes, Industry Standards, Best Practices, Trade Reports and Recommended Procedures. These are common subject matter sources that are referenced in the “Tile Inspection Reports.”

The reports are used as a statement of fact that will describe and address the tile problem for the purpose of mediation, under evidence code section 1115 ET SEQ 1152 & 1154. Used in arbitration, court hearings and trial and best served as the foundation for discussion of the problems. The examples of industry practices help to provide a resolution to the construction problem.

The reports are produced for either the Plaintiff or the Defendant: Homeowners, General Contractor, Tile Contractors, Architects, Developers, Bond and Insurance Companies and Attorneys
